Policies

Requirement:      Borrower's card with ID picture
Borrowing:
  1. A student/borrower may borrow one  to two books at a time.
  2. Reserved books are loaned out for overnight only but renewable for another day.
  3. Reference books, periodicals, vertical/information files and (AV) audio-visual materials are restricted to the library only.
  4. No borrowing of books during examination week.
Fines:

     Books not returned on time are subject to the following overdue fines:
Fiction books -Php 1.00/day
Non-fiction books - Php 2.00/day

Borrowers with overdue books or with outstanding obligation to the library will not be allowed to borrow any library item unless all library accounts are settled.

     A book lost while on loan must be reported immediately to the librarian. A lost book must be paid for a week after it was reported lost.
     Damaged library materials returned beyond repair must be replaced with the same title.
     Missing pages or any damaged pages noted in any borrowed library materials must be reported immediately to the librarian.

Photocopying and Printing Services:

     Photocopying of periodical articles or chapters from the book may be allowed for personal use depending on the amount and substantiality of the portion  copied on relation to the work as a whole.

Library Property:

     Theft,  defacement, mutilation or destruction of library property is covered by the Congressional National High School Student/ Handbook which provides for the disciplinary action.
     Users caught bringing out library materials taken without permission shall be dealt with appropriate action.

Conduct on Library Premises:

     Library is a place for reading and studying, therefore it should be conducive for learning purposes. Library users are requested to conduct themselves in a manner that will not disturb the peace, quiet and order of the library. Smoking, drinking, littering, loitering and the like are not permitted.
Observe courtesy and discipline at all times.
