THEME: “Libraries: Effects on Society”

Search for the LIBRARY IDOL
(for Grade 7 Library Volunteers only)

Mechanics:
            *Must be a 7th Grade student ACTIVE library volunteer who has a good moral character, talented and can be a role model to others”

1.      For eliminations, library volunteers from Grade 7 who are active and willing to join must register for the screening.
2.      Qualified participants must show their talents on the contest proper.
Performance will be on individual basis. Participants must bring their CD’s and props if needed.
3.      In the final round, participants will be asked questions for them to answer.
4.      Only one will be declared winner and the judge’s decision is final.

Criteria for Judging:
Star Quality (Skillful, Talented, Appealing, Reader) – 60%
Creativity (R3- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)                     - 20%
Intelligence (question and answer portion)              - 10%
Library Attendance                                                           - 10%
                                                            TOTAL                                   - 100%

UPDATES of the Library Club Volunteers


Library Info Team, isinagawa
                 Kasama si Gng. Marites K. Chavez, librarian ng Congressional National High School (CNHS) sa paglunsad ng Library Infoteam bilang bahagi ng proyekto ng library club na naganap noong Ika 26-28  ng Hunyo 2012.
              Pinangunahan ito ng mga Library Club Volunteers at sinuportahan ito ng mga guro sa English Department.
              Tinungo ng mga Library Club Volunteers ang bawat silid  mula grade 7 hanggang 2nd year  upang magbigay ng mga impormasyon ukol sa ating silid-aklatan.
             “Successful,matagumpay at higit sa lahat nakahihikayat tayo ng mga mag-aaral na magtungo sa ating Library,”wika ni Jeraldine Villamor, library club volunteer.

 “Basurang papel sa kahong ito nararapat
          Ganyan ang tema sa paper brigade sa silid-aklatan ng Congressional National High School na pinasimulan noong unang linggo ng Hunyo 2012.
          Naglalagay ng mga kahon ang mga Library Club Volunteers sa bawat faculty department at kinokolekta ang mga ito tuwing sumasapit ang Biyernes.
          Ginagamit ang pondo nito sa pagbili ng mga karagdagang aklat na magagamit ng mga guro at mag-aaral sa silid-aklatan.
